About Us
We are a fellowship of Orthodox Christians who seek to live by the grace of God in dealing with our particular struggles. We understand that we cannot deal with our problems alone. We acknowledge that we need God and His body to stay on the path to peace and to live fully, as Christ intended.
We strive to live by the Beatitudes, the teaching and sayings of the Church fathers, and our twelve principles. We focus on the solutions rather than on our problems. Our goal is to become who God intended us to be – fully human, acknowledging that our only way to true peace is by dying to ourselves and serving God and others.

Twelve Principles of Orthodox Spirituality
1. We admit that without God, we are helpless to deal with our passions.
Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3
2. We believe that God the Father, through His Son's incarnation and by the power of the Holy Spirit, can restore us to our true humanity.
Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted. Matthew5:4
3. We turn our will and lives over to the care of God by attending divine services, especially the Liturgy and applying ascetical practices.
Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5
4. We daily examine ourselves asking for God's mercy
Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8
5. We acknowledge and confess our failures and shortcomings to God and to a trusted other, and seek absolution through the sacrament of confession.
Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God. Matthew 5:9
6. We become willing and open to have God renew our hearts and minds.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6
7. In humility, we ask God to remove the passions that interfere with our relationship with Him and others.
Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5
8. We consider those we have harmed and become willing to ask forgiveness.
Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Matthew 5:11
9. We seek forgiveness and restoration as long as it does not harm others.
Blessed are they who mourn for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4
10. We continue to look at our own sins, admit them and not judge our brother.
Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3
11. We daily seek God through the ascetical practices of prayer, scripture reading, and contemplation, praying only for His will to be done in our lives and the power to carry that out.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness sake for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:5
12. Having worked on these principles, we try to be a light to others, offering help and encouragement on the path to redemption.
Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. Matthew 5:9
